$1 Billion Investment Expected As Saudi Delegation Arrives

ISLAMABAD: A high-level business delegation from Saudi Arabia has arrived in Pakistan, the Foreign Office confirmed.

The delegation is being led by Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud, who also serves as the Chairman of the Pakistan-Saudi Joint Business Council.

According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the delegation will hold a series of meetings with Pakistani leadership, senior government officials, chambers of commerce, and prominent business groups.

The primary aim of the visit is to explore new opportunities for enhancing bilateral trade and investment between the two countries.

The spokesperson further emphasized that this visit reflects the deep and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, and underscores both nations’ commitment to expanding economic and investment partnerships.

In a related development, Sardar Yasir Ilyas, Prime Minister’s Coordinator for Tourism, hosted a dinner in honor of the Saudi investors. The event was attended by senior government officials and representatives of the Pakistani business community, with the Saudi delegation led by Prince Mansour bin Mohammed Al Saud.

Speaking at the occasion, Sardar Yasir Ilyas highlighted that Saudi Arabia is not only a close friend but also a key trading partner of Pakistan. He further stated that Saudi investment is expected to create significant employment opportunities, promote industrial growth, and provide a substantial boost to the tourism sector, positioning Pakistan on a global scale.
