MEXICO: At least 10 illegal migrants were killed and scores of other injured when a truck carrying them met with an accident on a highway here, local authorities said.

They said most of the victims were women and the injured have been shifted to a nearby health center. The number of the injured is 25, they added.

The authorities said that the illegal migrants belonged to Cuba and they were trying to enter the United States of America through the border of Mexico.

According to local media, this was the second road traffic accident in the same area involving illegal migrants trying to enter the USA.
