The operations were carried out under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision and Operation Radd-ul-Fitna 3 against militants associated with Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.

In South Waziristan, five Fitna al-Khawarij militants were killed during an intelligence-based operation. Their hideouts were targeted and destroyed, while a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was recovered from the slain militants.

In another operation in Gorandhar, Mashkel, Balochistan, security forces killed six militants associated with Fitna al-Hindustan, according to security sources.

The sources said the militants opened fire on a security check post in Mashkel and attempted to flee, but security forces responded promptly and killed all six fleeing militants.

Security sources said ongoing intelligence-based operations in KP and Balochistan were inflicting significant losses on militant groups.

Security forces reaffirmed their resolve to eliminate terrorism across the country and establish lasting peace under the Azm-e-Istehkam vision.
