17 more terrorists killed, ammunition recovered: ISPR

Says these militants were operating under the influence of Indian handlers.

RAWALPINDI: Security forces conducted  operations in North Waziristan from 25 to 27 April, killing 54 militants.

Following these engagements, a deliberate sanitization operation was carried out on the night of 27/28 April in the Hassan Khel area near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. During the operation, 17 more militants were killed. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from those neutralized.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the militants were operating under the influence of Indian handlers.

The total number of militants killed during the three-day operation has risen to 71.

Security forces reiterated their commitment to securing the nation’s frontiers and defeating attempts to sabotage peace, stability, and progress in Pakistan.
