LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the names of 18 players who will embark on a tour of Australia to play a Test series from December 17 to January 7, 2024.
Shan Masood has been named as the captain of the Test playing squad.
Chief Selector Wahab Riaz said that the squad was selected with a focus on the challenging Australian conditions.
The squad comprises Shan Masood (captain), Aamir Jamal, Abdullah Shafique, Abrar Ahmed, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Hasan Ali, Imam-ul-Haq, Khurram Shahzad, Mir Hamza, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Noman Ali, Saim Ayub, Salman Ali Agha, Sarfaraz Ahmed (wk), Saud Shakeel, and Shaheen Shah Afridi.
