ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has claimed that 21 terrorist organizations are currently operating from Afghanistan, with India providing targets and funding for attacks.

Speaking to the media, Naqvi said the entire ISIS network in the region had been identified, operating wherever they can gain financial advantage. He said that all these groups are connected, and recent suicide attacks have exposed their coordination.

Naqvi accused India of sponsoring terrorism, claiming that the country has increased funding for militants from $500 to $1,500 per operation. “One day the world will acknowledge which countries sponsor terrorism,” he said.

He added that security agencies had conducted extensive operations following recent attacks, arresting all facilitators and the Afghan mastermind behind the incidents. Four facilitators were detained, and one Afghan national linked to ISIS was captured. A security officer was martyred, and several others injured during the raids.

Naqvi also stated that terrorist training and planning for attacks have been carried out in Afghanistan, involving groups like TTP, Afghan Taliban, and others.

He called for citizens to report any suspicious activity, emphasizing that for every attack that occurs, security agencies prevent 99 others.
