ABUJA: At least 22 students were killed and 130 others injured when the building of their school collapsed on Friday, authorities said on Saturday.
The incident occured at a time when over 1,000 students were inside the school building collapse. As many as 154 students were buried under the debris of the building and later rescuers took out 132 students. The authorities confirmed that 22 had died in the building collapse.
The injured were shifted to hospitals where they were being treated for different in injuries. The authorities said that an investigation had been launched to ascertain the causes of the collapse of the two-storey building.
