25 More Flights from Pakistan to Middle East Cancelled

LAHORE: As many as 25 additional flights from Pakistan to the Middle East were cancelled today due to the ongoing regional security situation following the ongoing US-Iran War.

According to aviation sources, 14 flights operating to and from Lahore have been cancelled. These flights were scheduled to travel to major Gulf destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Qatar.

Additionally, four flights from Sialkot International Airport have been cancelled, while seven more flights from Multan and Faisalabad were also suspended.

The cancellations come as the airspace of several Middle Eastern countries remains closed for the 15th consecutive day, following military strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran, which have escalated tensions across the region.

It is worth noting that 72 flights from across Pakistan to Middle Eastern destinations were also cancelled on Friday, reflecting the continuing disruption to air travel caused by the regional conflict.
