RAWALPINDI: As many as 27 terrorists were eliminated in an intelligence based operation in the province of Balochistan.
According to the ISPR, the media wing of the military, the intelligence based operation was conducted in the Kachi area of Balochistan.
On the basis of the intelligence, security forces encircled the hideout of terrorists after which the terrorists opened fire. In the exchange of firing, the security forces killed 27 terrorists, said the ISPR.
It added that the security forces also recovered sophisticated arms and ammunition from the hideout of the terrorists.
The ISPR said that the terrorists were involved in attacks on the army and civilians. A clean up operation was conducted in the area to ensure that there is no accomplice of the terrorists.
