RAWALPINDI: As many as 30 terrorists were  killed in two separate operations by security forces.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces killed 30 terrorists in two separate operations. The terrorists, described as members of the “Khawarij” group with alleged Indian backing, were attempting to infiltrate across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in North Waziristan.

Security forces detected their movement in the Hasan Khel area and launched a precise operation, killing all 30 militants. A large cache of weapons and explosives was recovered from them.

The ISPR praised the security forces for their exceptional professionalism in averting potential devastation. It also called on the Afghan government to prevent the use of its territory by foreign-backed proxies against Pakistan. The military reiterated its commitment to defending the country and eliminating Indian-sponsored terrorism.
