The treatment was initiated on the instructions of Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique, who directed the hospital administration to provide the actor with the necessary medical care.

Abid Charlie is currently admitted to Medical Unit-II of General Hospital, where doctors have conducted several medical tests. An MRI examination is still pending as part of his ongoing medical assessment.

On the health minister’s instructions, the hospital has also provided Abid Charlie with a private room during his treatment.

The government-funded treatment follows concerns over the comedian’s health, with authorities arranging his care and medical evaluation at the Lahore hospital.
