Afghanistan vs. Sri Lanka White-Ball Series Postponed

SHARJAH: The scheduled white-ball cricket series between Afghanistan and Sri Lanka has been postponed due to regional tensions in the Middle East.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) had planned to host the series in the UAE, with matches originally scheduled from March 13 to March 25. However, the ACB announced that the series will now be rescheduled to later this year.

The decision was taken due to logistical challenges arising from the current regional situation. Originally, the fixtures included:

T20 Matches: March 13, 15, 17 at Sharjah Stadium

One-Day Internationals (ODIs): March 20, 22, 25 in Dubai

The ACB emphasized that the new schedule will be confirmed once conditions are deemed safe for travel and match operations.
