AJK PM Meets Punjab CM to Discuss Welfare Projects

LAHORE: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Chaudhry Anwarul Haq held an important meeting with Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore, where matters of mutual interest and public welfare projects were discussed.

During the meeting, both leaders exchanged views on initiatives aimed at improving governance and delivering relief to the public. The longstanding ties between Kashmiri leadership and Nawaz Sharif also came under discussion.

Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq appreciated the public-friendly measures and governance model introduced by Maryam Nawaz in Punjab. Progress regarding the rehabilitation of Kashmiri refugees residing in Punjab was also reviewed positively.

The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation in infrastructure development, particularly in the repair and construction of roads linking Azad Kashmir and Punjab.

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continuing joint efforts for the welfare and development of the people in their respective regions.
