LONDON: The Sikh community in the UK is protesting against the atrocities committed by the extremist Modi government on farmers in India. Sikhs have once again protested outside the Indian High Commission in London.
The protesters said that the Modi government was burying the poor farmers alive, adding that the new laws would lead to starvation in the homes of farmers.
The protesters chanted slogans against the Indian government and demanded that the Modi government stop the economic massacre of farmers and the new laws be withdrawn immediately.
However, police cordoned off the Indian High Commission throughout the day to prevent angry protesters from damaging the building. Protests against the Indian government in the UK continue in cities other than London.
Earlier, more than 10,000 Sikhs surrounded the Indian High Commission and staged a massive protest, after which police arrested 13 protesters.
