APHC calls for shutter-down in occupied Kashmir

Action sought against Hindu student for uploading blasphemous video on social media.

SRINAGAR: The All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has announced that a strike will be held in the Indian occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Friday against a blasphemous video posted deliberately on social media by a Hindu student aimed at hurting the sentiments of the Muslims.

It said that the Muslims would not tolerate such an activity, calling for action against the student who is said to be a student National Institute of Technology, Srinagar.     

The APHC in the occasion also came down hard on the occupying Modi regime for arbitrary arrests and killings of innocent people in the occupied territory and called upon the Kashmiris to observe Friday as a day of protest against the regime.

Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party in a statement also expressed serious concern over the plight of illegally detained Kashmiris languishing in different jails of the territory and India.         

Senior leader of Communist Party of India Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami led a protest demonsteation against the anti-people policies of the occupation authorities.
