Arab Leaders Warn Iran’s Attacks Threaten Regional Peace

JEDDAH: Leaders from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Jordan held a meeting in Jeddah to discuss the ongoing military tensions in the region, the risks to international maritime navigation, and the protection of energy supplies.

The meeting was hosted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and attended by Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and King Abdullah II.

During the meeting, the Arab leaders examined the potential global economic impact of regional tensions and explored joint efforts to promote regional security and stability.

They stated that Iran’s ongoing attacks on Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Jordan, including both strategic and civilian facilities, have reached a dangerous level, posing a serious threat to peace and stability in the region.

This meeting comes amid a continuing wave of drone and missile attacks by Iran targeting Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Jordan.
