QUETTA: A 5.9-kilometer cycling race for women was organized at the Shola Sports Complex in Quetta, in collaboration with the Pakistan Army and the Quetta District Cycling Association.
A large number of female participants showcased their skills along an attractive and challenging route.
At the conclusion of the event, the top finishers were awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates. Special recognition was also given to the youngest and oldest participants to encourage broader participation.
Participants praised the initiative, saying that such events are crucial for promoting women’s involvement in sports and encouraging healthy activities in Balochistan. They called for more events like this to provide platforms for women to demonstrate their talents.
