PARIS: In the Javelin final at the Olympics Gams in Paris, Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem won a gold medal with a 92.97 metres throw, making a new Olympics record.
The defending champion Neeraj Chopra of India remained second with 89.45 metres.
It is first time since 1984 that Pakistan has won a gold medal in the Olympics games.
