ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on National Heritage and Culture Division Engineer Amir Muqam has termed artists as the valuable asset of country because they play an important role in the projection of positive image of country.
He was addressing the concluding ceremony of the cultural festival at Lok Virsa in Islamabad on Monday. Highlighting the benefits of such festivals, he said that such events prove beneficial to establish linkage among the people living in different parts of country.
He further said that such events also provide a forum to project the culture and traditions of various parts of country under one roof. Engineer Amir Muqam also distributed shields and awards among the artists of the fair.
