According to Indian media, the makers of the upcoming drama-comedy film Om Ka Hari have announced that Bhosle’s final song recorded for a film will be released on September 8, coinciding with her birth anniversary.
Titled “Ae Meri Zindagi, Tu Chhupi Hai Kahan”, the song was recorded in late 2023. The film, directed by Harish Vyas, revolves around the relationship between a father and his son.
Asha Bhosle enjoyed a career spanning more than seven decades and recorded more than 12,000 songs during her illustrious career. Her popular songs include Dum Maro Dum, Piya Tu Ab To Aaja, Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko and Yeh Mera Dil.
The legendary singer passed away on April 12 this year at the age of 92, leaving behind one of the most influential musical legacies in Indian cinema.
The release of her final film song is expected to be a special tribute to her extraordinary contribution to Bollywood music and a poignant moment for generations of her fans.
