According to media reports, the photograph was posted on social media platform X by astronaut Jessica Meir. The image showcases an expansive formation of storm clouds stretching across the Earth, offering a rare and dramatic view from orbit.
In the caption accompanying the image, Meir described the sight as mesmerizing, saying that the endless variety of cloud shapes and patterns is captivating even from the space station.
She added that the storm cloud formation was observed over the Pacific Northwest during the past week.
