LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court in Lahore has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur.

The case is related to a protest held by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on October 5 2024 in Lahore, during which violence against the police reportedly occurred.

During the hearing, the investigation officer informed the court that Ali Amin Gandapur and others had been repeatedly asked to join the investigation but failed to appear.

As a result, the court issued non-bailable arrest warrants for Ali Amin Gandapur, Hammad Azhar, Saeed Sandhu, and Shehbaz Ahmed. The court also ordered authorities to produce all of them before the court.
