QUETTA: The Balochistan government has set up the province’s first Artificial Intelligence (AI) cell in the Department of Home and Tribal Affairs to improve law and order and make security decisions more data-driven.
According to a statement by the Balochistan government, the initiative is a significant step towards modern governance. The AI cell will analyze data from the Balochistan Integrated Security Architecture (BISA), helping authorities address crime trends, security concerns, and potential threats more effectively and in a timely manner.
The statement further highlighted that the primary goal of the AI Cell is to identify crime patterns, predict potential threats in high-risk areas, and analyze security trends. This will enable the government to take preventive measures before any adverse event occurs.
