LAHORE: Bangladesh’s fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has joined the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL). This move comes after the Indian franchise Kolkata Knight Riders dropped Rahman from their squad.

Previously, the left-arm pacer had represented Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, where he made a notable impact with his skillful bowling. Rahman’s entry into the PSL this season is a significant boost for the league, which continues to attract top international talent.

In other news, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of Bangladeshi cricketers registering for the PSL this year. Among the players who have signed up are Shakib Al Hasan, one of the world’s premier all-rounders, and Tawhid Hridoy, Taskin Ahmed, and Rishad Hossain. Additionally, Tanzid Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, and Hasan Mohammad have also completed their registrations, further strengthening the Bangladeshi presence in the league.

With this surge in Bangladeshi players, the PSL is expected to have a highly competitive and international flavor in the upcoming season.
