LAHORE: A Safety Rod awareness campaign has been launched to ensure the safety of motorcyclists in Lahore.
The police have announced a crackdown on motorcyclists who fail to install safety rods, emphasizing the importance of safety measures for riders.
According to a police spokesperson, safety rods are being installed on motorcycles across the city. The Station House Officers are personally overseeing the implementation, ensuring that safety rods are affixed to the motorcycles of citizens.
To raise awareness among the public, informational camps have been set up at various locations within the division.
The police spokesperson also confirmed the formation of special teams to tackle illegal kite flying and kite-making activities, which have been a persistent safety concern.
As part of the broader safety initiative, law enforcement is committed to taking strict action against those riding motorcycles without safety rods.
