Bilawal blames PTI govt’s policies for rising terrorism

Visits interior ministry and installs mother's portrait on newly-established wall of martyrs.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday said the policies of the PTI government led by Imran Khan were responsible for the rising incidents of terrorism in the country.

He stated this during a visit to the Ministry of Interior in the presence of caretaker Interior minister Sarfaraz Bugti.

Bilawal visited the wall of martyrs and hung a portrait of his mother and former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.

Speaking on the occasion, he appreciated the initiative of the caretaker interior minister to establish the martyrs’ wall, adding those who .

He said due to the wrong policies of the PTI government, Pakistan is now faced with rising incidents of terrorism.

He said in the past terrorists were freed from jail, and there should be an investigation to know what were the factors behind this policy. And, he added, the nation should be assured that no such u-turn is taken in the future.
