TENNESSEE (USA): An explosion at an explosives manufacturing facility in Tennessee has left multiple people dead, several injured, and numerous others missing.
Authorities report that additional explosions at the site have forced rescue teams to hold back, as the area remains engulfed in flames.
The initial blast was so powerful that its roar could be heard for miles. The explosion occurred at Accurate Energetic Systems, a company located in a rural area near the town of Buck Snort, approximately 97 kilometers southwest of Nashville, in forested, hilly terrain. The facility comprises eight buildings, all engaged in the production and testing of explosive materials.
The county sheriff has confirmed some fatalities while several individuals are still reported missing. The exact cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.
Rescue operations are ongoing, but authorities are exercising extreme caution due to the risk of further blasts, making access to the site highly hazardous.
