ISLAMABAD: Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) on Sunday has taken notice of the airport employee slapping a passenger going to Barcelona at Islamabad Airport. The CAA has started an inquiry against the employee of the foreign airline, while the official who slapped the passenger has been syspended untill the completion of investigation.
According to CAA, footage of CCTV cameras installed at the airport has been obtained. The airline official handed over the passenger’s travel documents to another passenger.
According to Civil Aviation, the documents were returned to the passenger upon learning of the error. Bitter words were exchanged between the passenger and the official. Apparently no evidence of slapping the passenger was found.
The CAA had taken notice when the video of the passenger being slapped came to light.
