ISLAMABAD: The federal cabinet has unanimously approved a resolution commending Pakistan’s efforts to promote peace and stability in the region, recognizing its diplomatic role in facilitating dialogue and de-escalation between international stakeholders.
The resolution was adopted during a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. It acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts in hosting and supporting high-level diplomatic engagements aimed at reducing tensions and encouraging peaceful negotiations.
Cabinet members appreciated the leadership for what they described as sustained diplomatic outreach and constructive engagement with relevant parties. The resolution stated that Pakistan’s initiative had helped create space for dialogue at a critical time for regional and global stability.
It further expressed confidence that Pakistan would continue to play a positive role in promoting peace, dialogue, and cooperation in the region. The cabinet also prayed for the success of ongoing diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving lasting stability and reducing geopolitical tensions.
