CDWP approves 12 projects worth Rs35.4 billion

ISLAMABAD: The government has embarked on a robust agenda of development initiatives designed to accelerate national growth across multiple critical sectors.

In a session held in Islamabad and chaired by Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) approved twelve development projects with a total estimated cost of 35.4 billion rupees.

Additionally, the forum recommended six more projects, amounting to 280.2 billion rupees, for consideration by the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC).

The deliberations focused on projects spanning essential sectors, including food and agriculture, governance, health, higher education, housing, social welfare, power, transport, and water resources.

This comprehensive approach highlights the government’s commitment to a multi-sectoral strategy aimed at promoting sustainable national progress.
