ISLAMABAD: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Chief of Army Staff, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, in Islamabad today, focusing on strengthening bilateral ties and regional security, said ISPR.
During the meeting, both sides discussed counter-terrorism efforts, regional security, and matters of mutual interest. They reaffirmed their commitment to enhancing the all-weather strategic partnership and coordinating at regional and international forums.
Mr. Wang Yi reiterated China’s steadfast support for Pakistan’s sovereignty and development, while the COAS expressed gratitude for China’s consistent support.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to promote peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
