Chinese Foreign Minister Due In Islamabad to Boost Cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Pakistan on Thursday. He will co-chair the 6th Pakistan-China Foreign Ministers’ Strategic Dialogue in Islamabad.

This is Wang Yi’s second visit to Pakistan in three years, said Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning. She called China and Pakistan ironclad friends and all-weather strategic partners. Their relationship is marked by strong trust and frequent high-level exchanges.

Mao Ning said President Xi Jinping and Pakistani leaders have provided strategic guidance for bilateral ties.

China hopes this visit will advance key understandings, deepen strategic communication, expand cooperation in multiple sectors, and strengthen coordination on international and regional issues.

The goal is to build an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future.
