Chinese vice FM hails Pakistan’s efforts for regional peace

Sun Weidong also praises security arrangements made for different projects under CPEC.

RAWALPINDI: Chinese vice foreign minister Sun Weidong here on Monday said that Pakistan and China are strategic partners and have been working on different projects of connectivity.

Weidong stated this at a meeting with Chief of Army Staff Gen Asim Munir at the GHQ.

He acknowledged Pakistan’s efforts towards regional peace and stability and also conveyed China’s satisfaction on security arrangements for CPEC projects.

Speaking on the occasion, Gen Asim said relations between Pakistan and China are founded on a common understanding of regional peace, stability and prosperity for the people of both countries.
