PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi has lauded Imran Khan for presenting Pakistan’s stance with courage at the global level and raising his voice against Islamophobia, stating that he has the vision to make the country self-reliant.
Addressing a public gathering, the Chief Minister said that Imran Khan is the only leader capable of steering Pakistan towards development, sovereignty, and justice, and of building a strong Islamic welfare state.
He expressed concern over the current state of national institutions, saying they have weakened significantly, while Parliament is not functioning in its true spirit, placing the overall system in crisis.
Afridi urged the nation to awaken and play its role, calling on citizens to unite for true independence, restoration of constitutional supremacy, and revival of democratic governance. He emphasized readiness for sacrifice and stressed that only a peaceful struggle can put the country on the right path.
