Punjab CM wants Korean cooperation in IT sector

Korean Ambassador Park Kijun meets Maryam Nawaz in Lahore.

LAHORE: Ambassador of Korea Park Kijun met Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz in Lahore today and the two sides discussed mutual cooperation in different fields.

Talking to the ambassador, the chief minister said that her provincial government wants to benefit from the Korean technology aimed at boosting industrial development.

She also said that Punjab being the largest province of the country in terms of population had huge also investment potential in agriculture and mining sectors. The chief minister stressed the need to promote Korean cooperation in agriculture sector to increase productivity.

The ambassador expressed the desire to enhance cooperation with the provincial government in different fields especially education and IT.
