NEW YORK: Consul General of Pakistan in New York Aamer Ahmed Atozai accompanied by Trade and Investment Counsellor Adnan Mahmood Awan visited Lineapelle New York, a premier international trade fair for leather, accessories, components, and fashion materials, and met with Pakistani exhibitors.
During the visit, the Consul General interacted with representatives of Pakistani leather companies, reviewed their products, and commended the quality, craftsmanship, and innovation on display.
Discussions focused on enhancing competitiveness through improved quality standards, design, sustainability, pricing, and delivery capabilities, as well as emerging market trends in the United States.
Exhibitors strongly supported the inclusion of Lineapelle New York in the official calendar of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) to strengthen export outreach.
The Consul General reaffirmed the Consulate’s commitment to supporting Pakistani exporters and promoting stronger trade and investment ties between Pakistan and the United States.
