NEW YORK: The consulate general of Pakistan in New York hosted a gathering to bid farewell to the outgoing Consul General of Bangladesh Najmul Huda, and to welcome his successor Muhammad Mozammel Haque.
Aamer Ahmed Atozai, Consul General of Pakistan, commended Mr Huda’s diplomatic contributions during his tenure and extended heartfelt wishes for his future assignments. He also warmly welcomed Mr. Haque, expressing optimism that his appointment would help further deepen the ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to discuss matters of mutual interest, including the welfare of expatriate communities and significant regional developments. The diplomats reaffirmed their shared commitment to maintaining strong diplomatic engagement and fostering greater collaboration between their respective missions in New York.
