According to the details, the registrar’s office had raised an objection that the respondents had not been provided with a list of the allegations made against them. The petition was subsequently revised to address the objection and has now been submitted again before the apex court.

The matter relates to the Supreme Court’s August 18 order directing that Imran Khan be shifted to Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment.

However, instead of being transferred to the facility named in the court order, he was taken to PIMS Hospital, where he underwent a medical examination before being returned to Adiala Jail.

The latest development comes amid continued legal proceedings over Imran Khan’s medical treatment and hospital transfer. The refiled contempt petition seeks the court’s intervention over the alleged non-compliance with its earlier directions.

The Supreme Court will now determine the next course of action after examining the petition and the circumstances surrounding the implementation of its previous order.
