Dar Arrives in London to Hold Talks with Key Officials

LONDON: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar arrived in London on Monday for a five-day official visit to the United Kingdom, scheduled from August 24 to 28, 2026.

Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK Tiplos Usman received the deputy prime minister at Heathrow Airport.

During his visit, Ishaq Dar is scheduled to meet British Foreign Secretary David Lammy and UK Minister of State at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office Stephen Doughty. He is also expected to hold meetings with other senior British officials.

The deputy prime minister will also meet International Maritime Organization Secretary-General Arsenio Dominguez to discuss matters related to regional maritime security.

He is further scheduled to meet Commonwealth Secretary-General Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.

The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for important discussions on diplomatic and maritime cooperation between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
