ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation today with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan to discuss the latest regional and international situation, including key geopolitical developments and emerging global challenges.

During the exchange, the two leaders shared detailed perspectives on recent developments and evolving circumstances across the region and beyond.

They particularly underscored the significance of maintaining open channels of communication, constructive engagement, and sustained diplomatic efforts as essential means to promote peace, stability, and mutual understanding at both regional and international levels.

Both sides reiterated the importance of close coordination between Pakistan and Türkiye on issues of shared concern and mutual interest.

They agreed to remain in regular contact and continue consultations, reaffirming their commitment to working together and staying closely engaged in addressing ongoing developments and fostering cooperation between the two countries.
