ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has instructed all members of the National Assembly, Senate, and provincial assemblies to submit details of their assets and liabilities by December 31, 2025.
According to the ECP spokesperson, lawmakers must also declare the assets and liabilities of their spouses and dependent children for the financial year 2024–25.
Each member is required to file the prescribed Form-B with the Election Commission annually, no later than December 31.
The names of lawmakers who fail to submit their declarations by the deadline will be published on January 1, 2026. Those who do not file their statements by January 15, 2026 will face suspension of their membership, making them ineligible to participate in parliamentary proceedings.
The ECP further stated that if any member is found to have submitted false information, the commission will initiate action under Section 137 within 120 days of the submission date.
