ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office has stated that despite the presence of terrorist havens in Afghanistan, Pakistan has consistently prioritized diplomacy.

The only request to Afghanistan is to ensure that its territory is not used against Pakistan.

In a press briefing, the Foreign Office spokesperson said that Pakistan conducts intelligence-based operations to protect its citizens. These operations against terrorists in border areas are carried out with caution and precision, based on verified and actionable intelligence.

The spokesperson emphasized that the Prime Minister’s statement, “Enough is Enough”, reflects Pakistan’s resolve and seriousness in addressing security threats.

He reiterated Pakistan’s appeal to Afghanistan to prevent its territory from being used against Pakistan, while stressing that diplomacy has remained Pakistan’s preferred approach, even in the presence of terrorist shelters across the border.

It may be mentioned here that Afghan Foreign Minister while visiting India on Friday blamed Pakistan for explosions in Afghanistan.
