ISLAMABAD: Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr Sameh Shoukry will undertake an official visit to Pakistan from Saturday (today).
The visit has been arranged at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. The cordial bilateral relations between Pakistan and Egypt will be a key focus during the visit.
A Foreign Office spokesperson said the visit will play a pivotal role in enhancing political, economic, defense, cultural and people-to-people exchanges between the two nations.
During his visit, Dr. Shoukry will hold one-on-one meetings with Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar as well as delegation-level talks. The two sides are expected to discuss a wide range of issues, including the strengthening of bilateral ties and collaboration on regional and global matters. The ongoing situation in Gaza will also be a major point of discussion.
