CAIRO: Egypt’s parliament has approved legislation authorising President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to send military forces to Saudi Arabia if the kingdom formally requests assistance, according to local media reports.
The approval grants the Egyptian president authority to provide Saudi Arabia with military support, including deploying troops if requested by Riyadh.
