Eight family members murdered in attack on house
Two women among victims, incident occurred in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
LAKKI MARWAT: As many as eight people, including two women, were killed by firing inside a house in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakthunkhwa.
Police said that unidentified armed men entered the house at Takhti Khel last night and opened indiscriminate firing on the inmate, killing the eight members of the family.
Police said that the initial investigation suggested that the incident was a result of an enmity. However, details would emerge after an inquiry.
Police and Rescue 1122 staffers shifted the dead bodies of the victims to hospital for postmortem.
The police said that the incident has created insecurity in the area., Takhti Khel, where the gruesome murder of the eight people occurred.
