According to a notification issued by the Punjab Information and Culture Department, the performers have been barred from appearing in theatre productions across the province for one month.
The actresses named in the notification include Mahi Rajput, Hina Sheikh, Malaika Shehzadi, Madiha Khan, Mehak Noor, Manu Multani, Raima Mehr and Hasna Jutt.
The department said the action was taken following allegations of obscene dance moves and inappropriate gestures during stage performances.
The notification directed all relevant authorities to ensure strict implementation of the ban and prevent the affected performers from appearing in theatre shows during the suspension period.
The move comes as provincial authorities continue efforts to regulate stage performances and ensure compliance with prescribed standards for theatre productions.
