ANKARA: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan warmly welcomed Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation during an official visit to Ankara.
Taking to social media after the meeting, President Erdoğan expressed his pleasure at hosting “my dear friend Shehbaz Sharif.”
The two leaders held discussions on key matters including economic cooperation, trade, and regional security. President Erdoğan highlighted the deep-rooted historical, cultural, and political relations between Türkiye and Pakistan, reaffirming a shared commitment to further strengthen these ties.
“We have reinforced our unbreakable bonds, cooperation, solidarity, and brotherhood,” said the Turkish President.
Conveying a heartfelt message, President Erdoğan added, “Through Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, I extend my sincere love and greetings to my Pakistani brothers.”
