ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has approached the British government for extradition of 23 individuals involved in an attack on former chief justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa in London recently.
The ex-CJP was attacked by a group of Pakistanis when he was travelling in a car of the Pakistani high commission in London. The government has identified 23 of the attackers who included former PTI member of the National Assembly Malaika Bukhari, Sadia Fahim, Maheen Faisal, Sidra Tariq, Hibba Abdul Majid and frequent protester outside former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s residence in London Shayan Ali.
The government of Pakistan has already included the names of these 23 Pakistanis in the Passport Control List. Moreover, cases have been registered against them in Pakistan and if anyone of them arrives back in Pakistan, they would be arrested.
