Bath said the protesters would leave from the Quetta Press Club at 3pm the following day. He claimed that organisations from 20 districts had already arrived to participate in the demonstration.

He said the farmers were raising demands related to their livelihoods and would call off the protest if their demands were accepted.

According to Bath, farmers are facing several problems, including delayed payments from sugar mill owners, shortages of fertiliser in Quetta and inadequate measures to support wheat cultivation. He also criticised the Punjab government’s agricultural policies.

He said farmers from all four provinces would participate in the protest. The planned route, according to his statement, includes travelling from Quetta towards Sukkur and then Punjab before proceeding towards Islamabad.

Bath reiterated that the protest would be peaceful and said farmers were travelling to Islamabad to demand what they described as their rights. He also alleged that some farmers had been arrested in Punjab.
