Fazal Calls for Strong Action Against Terrorists in KP

CHINIOT: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman has urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to take decisive action against terrorists, reaffirming his party’s support for the state and the security of Pakistan.

Speaking to reporters in Chiniot, the JUI-F leader said that members of the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) cross into the country from Afghanistan to carry out terrorist activities.

He warned that the situation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has become alarming, with residents in some areas afraid to leave their homes due to growing insecurity.

Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman emphasized that Pakistan and Afghanistan should seek to resolve their tensions through dialogue rather than confrontation, stressing that peace in the region depends on mutual understanding and cooperation.
